Printyo Blog Contribution Guidelines

blog writing guidelines - Printyo

Printyo publishes a small number of guest articles, and only on printing. If your pitch is about crypto, casinos, health supplements or general “digital marketing”, it will be deleted without a reply. We are a printing company. The blog exists for people who buy, sell or make printed things in Australia.

What we publish

Practical printing knowledge from people who actually work with print. That means artwork and file setup, colour and paper stocks, packaging and label production, signage, promotional merchandise, print on demand, and how Australian businesses plan their print spend.

A good pitch usually looks like one of these:

– A how to piece written from real production experience
– A case study with actual numbers, even small ones
– A trend or buying guide specific to the Australian market
– A well designed infographic with a short written introduction

What we reject

Link insertion requests. Generic listicles like “Top 10 benefits of business cards”.

Anything already published somewhere else. Articles about industries we have nothing to do with. Thin 500-word posts written only to place a backlink.

We do not accept AI-written articles

This one is simple. If ChatGPT, Gemini or any similar tool wrote your draft, do not send it.

Before you submit, run the piece through Copyleaks and Quillbot and attach both reports with your draft. No reports, no review. If we publish something and later find it was AI-generated, the article is removed, and the author is blocked permanently.

Human writing has opinions, specific examples and a bit of mess in it. That is what we want.

The basics

900 to 1500 words. Short paragraphs, real subheadings, no keyword stuffing. Original images or properly credited ones. One link to your own site, placed where it makes sense. Facts backed by a source we can check.

How to pitch

Email Ravi, Content Manager, at [email protected] with your topic, a two-line angle and one link to something you have published before.

Send the idea first, not a finished draft. If it fits, you will hear back in 5 to 7 working days.

Pitch us something you would actually want to read.
